Chick-fil-A’s S. Truett Cathy Leaves Behind Incredible Legacy–and Amazing Car Collection!
Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy was a pioneer, successful businessman–and avid car collector.
Cathy passed away today (September 8, 2014) at the age of 93.
Best known for his privately held Chick-fil-A restaurant chain, Cathy founded Chick-fil-A in 1967 and oversaw the expansion of the chain to over 1,800 outlets in 39 states. He was also well known for his Christian faith, which led to Chick-fil-A’s policy of closing for the day on Sundays.
