Lots Shots Find of the Week: LS-Powered 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

This isn’t your grandfather’s Chevelle.

It might be someone’s grandfather’s Chevelle, but it’s not like the ’66 or ’67 Chevelle Super Sport your dad or granddad might have owned in the 1960s. Instead of the original big block, this one has more modern horsepower in the form of a Gen. III LS1 small block — a now-popular swap for early model A-bodies. With Corvette disc brakes and some upgrades to the stock suspension, this 1967 Chevelle is ready for the Autocross.

The 1967 Chevelle body style is one of our favorites from the 196os. The last of a two-year design (the second generation Chevelle hit the streets in 1968), the ’67 combined a trim yet muscular look with new wraparound taillights that set it apart from its 1966 sibling.
