Lot Shots Find of the Week: 1934 Ford & 1940 Chevy

A parking lot is a parking lot is a parking lot—unless it’s the Summit Racing parking lot. On any given day or time, the lot outside a Summit Racing store can turn into an impromptu mini-car show, depending on who’s stopped by the store. Each Wednesday, we’ll share our parking lot find of the week—another benefit of being Powered by Summit Racing Equipment.

In this election season, politics have once again divided us into red states and blue states, and we’ve been conditioned to see things as left versus right—all in preparation for the ultimate, final battle between a donkey and an elephant.

Seems practical.

Of course, we could all take a lesson from the 1934 Ford and 1940 Chevy we found peacefully coexisting in the Summit Racing parking lot in Ohio. Sure, the Ford is black and the Chevy is yellow. And yes, one likes to wear a Bowtie and the other is tattooed with a Blue Oval. But these two distinctly different cars are both great examples of American engineering and style.
