The NFL football season is nearly upon us—and so is fantasy season.

Some estimates put the amount of people participating in fantasy leagues at 30 to 35 million, with Forbes setting the number at 32 million. Here at OnAllCylinders, we don’t feel fantasy drafts should be reserved just for no shirt-wearin’, face-painted, mouth-foaming, dogbone-chewing football fanatics. I mean, why should my sister have all the fun, right?

So, in conjunction with Summit Racing, we’ve created the OnAllCylinders Fantasy Garage, which gives you a chance to draft vehicles to make up the ultimate Fantasy Garage.

How It Works

Below, we’ll present all the categories—or positions for you Fantasy Football players. You can share your picks in one of three ways:

• Write all your selections for each category in the comments section below.
• Follow OnAllCylinders on Facebook and submit your vote for each category when we post it. You can make your pick by leaving your selection in the comments.
• Follow Summit Racing Equipment’s Facebook page. Our friends at Summit Racing will post individual categories, and you can vote by writing your pick in the comments.

In a few weeks, we’ll reveal the consensus picks for each category (as voted by you) and unveil the OnAllCylinders Fantasy Garage. You can then compare our garage with your own Fantasy Garage—and let the debate begin.

The Categories (Positions)

Will the top pick in your fantasy draft be a Charger? A Falcon? Or how about a Patriot? For our Fantasy Garage, you can vote for whatever vehicle you want in each category. You can even pick year ranges (example: 1955-57 Chevrolet) if you want—it’s up to you! To get you thinking, though, we’ve included a few of our own finalists for each vehicle type. Here are the positions in the 2013 OnAllCylinders Fantasy Garage:

Street Rod/Classic

Qualifications: What are the cars that gave rise to the hot rodding hobby? Street rods and classics, for the purpose of this exercise, are considered pre-1960 cars.

Qualifications: Think back to the Detroit muscle car wars! For this category, we’ve defined classic muscle cars as any muscle car or pony car from the 1960s and 1970s.
