Lot Shots Find of the Week: 1960 Chevrolet Parkwood
[portfolio_slideshow id=12183]
A parking lot is a parking lot is a parking lot—unless it’s the Summit Racing parking lot. On any given day or time, the lot outside a Summit Racing store can turn into an impromptu mini car show, depending on who’s stopped by the store. Each Wednesday, we’ll share our parking lot find of the week—another benefit of being Powered by Summit Racing Equipment.
Grocery-getter.
Shop wagon/parts hauler.
Rat rod.
No matter how you categorize it, this 1960 Chevy Parkwood found in the Summit Racing parking lot near Akron, OH excels at being all of the above—at least in our opinion. We love the blend of patina, rust, and period-correct graphics with the lowered stance, plus-sized rims, and disc brakes. We couldn’t track down the owner, so we don’t know for sure if it’s LS-powered as advertised on the license plate. But why else would President Kennedy be smiling so broadly on the bumper sticker?
Hmmm.
Let us know what you think—about the car, not J.F.K.
