Project X-Box Update: Denny Terzich’s Pro Touring 1955 Chevy

Hot rod builder Denny Terzich is at it again. And once again, he’s bringing Summit Racing along for the ride.
His latest project, a Pro Touring-style 1955 Chevy, is in full swing at Zimmerman Automotive and Terzich hopes to have the project, nicknamed Project X-Box, complete for this year’s SEMA Show. It features a Procharger-fed GM LSX, supplied by Summit Racing, and will churn out 1,200 horsepower. The Tri-Five will sit on a custom Art Morrison Max G Chassis–a special five-link chassis that can be changed from a three-link rear during road racing to a two-link configuration for drag racing. Other highlights include:
- Chopped roof with leaned B-pillars
- Upside down bumpers with front air splitter
- Hood drop downs
- Custom rear wing
- Custom dash with Dakota Digital gauges
- C6 Corvette front suspension with Ridetech coil-overs
- NASCAR-style sway bars
- Currie Enterprises fabricated rear-end and axles
- Billet Specialties 20 x 12 rear wheels and 20 x 10 front wheels
