Stu Hilborn

The name Hilborn is synonymous with fuel injection. Hilborn-style fuel injection systems have been around since the 1940s when Stuart Hilborn developed his first homemade fuel injection system. He proved the system’s merits on the dry lakes, where he became the first hot rodder to break the 150 mile-per-hour barrier. Stuart Hilborn passed away yesterday at the age of 96. The legend
