Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen Out at GM

According to Automotive News, General Motors has replaced now-former Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen with Steve Carlisle.
Carlisle was previously the president and managing director of GM Canada.
De Nysschen had served as head of Cadillac since July 2014 after jobs with both Infiniti and Audi.
The decision is said to be effective immediately.

Cadillac has GOT to get its quality up if it wants to compete with its peers. I buy and drive and high end cars in its class and would like to buy a Cadillac, but I just cannot convince myself as they never rank in the top tiers for quality. Changing CEO’s won’t necessarily solve that problem.
