‘Car Talk’ Radio Host Tom Magliozzi, 77, Dies

Tom Magliozzi, co-host of NPR’s Car Talk  since 1987, died Monday due to complications related to Alzheimer’s disease. He was 77.

“Tom and his brother, Ray, became famous as ‘Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers’ on the weekly NPR show Car Talk. They bantered, told jokes, laughed and sometimes even gave pretty good advice to listeners who called in with their car troubles,” said the NPR story on Tom Magliozzi’s passing.

Magliozzi is well-known, not just for his car advice, but for his infectious laughter and magnetic personality.
