Billy Thomas’ 1939 Oldsmobile Wins 2016 Ridler Award

 
And the 2016 Ridler Award goes to Billy and Debbie Thomas!

The Thomas’ gorgeous 1939 Oldsmobile wowed the Detroit Autorama judges enough to win the prestigious award this afternoon among a competitive field of Great 8 finalists. 

Hot Rod wrote the following: 

Billy Thomas of Georgetown, Texas with his 1939 Oldsmobile convertible will take home the prestigious Ridler award as presented by Chevrolet Performance. The incredibly elegant and immensely creative and well-thought out hot rod was built under the hands and direction of Harold Chapman and his craftsman at Customs & Hot Rods of Andice, Texas. (Located north of Austin.)
