In our recent post about can’t-miss automotive events, you identified Summit Motorsports Park’s Night Under Fire as one of six shows you’d most like to see before the end of the year.

The bad news: You missed your chance because the event took place last weekend.

The good news: We’ve got pictures from the show, which featured jet-powered dragsters, jet Kenworth trucks, all-night sportsman racing, exhibition racing from John Force and other big names, fireworks, and more.

This year’s show was dampened by wet weather, but the spirit of the competitors and spectators was not. Check out the slide show above to see how Night Under Fire lives up to its name.
