SEMA Show ‘n’ Tell: BD Diesel Tap Shifter

LAS VEGAS, NV — If you’re a 2003-07 Ford F-250/F-350 diesel owner, you know the factory transmission can’t be shifted from overdrive to drive. BD Diesel has found a way to correct this “shortcoming” and give you more complete control of your shifting with its new Tap Switch.

The BD Diesel Tap Switch gives you fingertip control of your gears, so you can quickly shift up and down for passing, hill climbing, exhaust braking—whatever. The 6.7L switch has a factory look to it and, according to BD Diesel, typically installs in under two hours.
