After three years of product development, Edelbrock unveiled its new Cross-Ram Intake Manifold for GM LS3 engines at the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV.

It’s a dual-plenum design optimized for forced-induction applications which features 13-inch-long, cross-ram-style intake runners. The lengthy runners help boost power and torque in the 6.2L, 376-cubic-inch, 430-horsepower LS3 engine. The base engine produces 424 ft.-lbs. of torque at 4,600 rpm, and is the engine powering 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS and the 2008-2013 Chevy Corvette.

Edelbrock’s new cross-ram intake accepts dual 90mm throttle bodies and has been dyno-proven to show performance increases even without forced induction. According to Edelbrock’s website, “dyno testing resulted with gains of 27 horsepower and 28 ft-lbs. of torque over a popular aftermarket manifold.”

Edelbrock is working on an adapter so the intake can also be used with single-throttle-body setups. The intake manifold fits under the hood of both C6 Corvettes and fifth-generation Camaros.
