Video: Cameraman Gets Unexpected (and Unwelcome) Close Up of ADRL Crash

Maybe you have to work an extra shift, or perhaps your boss threw a last-minute project on your desk with an unrealistic deadline. Or maybe your latest sales report got rejected, because you used the wrong T.P.S. cover sheet.

Whatever the situation, chances are you’ve never dealt with anything quite like what Grinner Hester experienced at his job last Friday. Hester, a cameraman at the ADRL Drags III in Bristol, TN, was filming Summit Racing Top Sportsman action when he found himself a little too close to the action. As Lizzy Musi (pictured above left), 21-year-old daughter of Pat Musi, made her third qualifying pass, she lost control of her vehicle and headed straight for the track-side cameraman. Luckily, Hester avoided injury, Musi escaped unharmed–and we have this amazing video:
